Full Review of Free QR Code Reader & Barcode Scanner for iPhone

There were many times I’ve wanted more details about a product while at the store but I couldn’t get all the information. With QR Code Reader & Barcode Scanner for iPhone, this is something I don’t have to worry about anymore. I can scan the product and get more details about it on Google or Amazon in a matter of seconds.

There’s a lot of things I love about this leading iOS app’s design. First, I love that the different features are laid out very well, making it very easy for me to find various functions. The app also has warm colours which are not too distracting. The other thing I like about the design is that it incorporates great affordance and signifiers which direct you on how to use the app. I think the design deserves a 5 on a scale of 1 to 5.

This app has a number of fantastic features that boost its functionality. First and foremost, it has an all-in-one scanner which makes it possible for you to scan 1D and 2D types of codes. Apart from this, it also has a lightning-fast scan. I like this feature because it prevents me from wasting too much time especially when I am shopping. It also can save all scans performed for future reference, which I think is terrific. If that was not enough, this app also has flashlight support which lets you scan different codes even in the dark. Last but not least, this app works offline. It’s great for situations when you are in areas where don’t have an Internet connection. All these features work like a well-oiled machine to make the app very useful and functional. Therefore, I would rate it at 5 on a scale of 1 to 5.

Ease of Use

This iPad and iPhone scanning tool was designed with the end user in mind. All you have to do to scan a barcode with this app is to face your camera towards the code and let the app do the rest. I believe anyone who has no experience with a scanning device can use this app comfortably without any complications. For this reason, I would rate its ease of use at a 5 on a scale of 1 to 5.
